William Chester Raper, Sr.

William ?Bill? Chester Raper, Sr., Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, was born December 24, 1924, in Chouteau, Oklahoma. He was the son of William Penn & Bertha Wilson Raper. He left this life on December 26, 2004, at the age of 80, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Bill was a blacksmith for over 31 years. He had a wonderful sense of humor and loved telling jokes and stories. Bill was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, June. Survivors include 1 son, William C. Raper, Jr., San Antonio, TX; and 2 daughters, Shelly Ann Pitsinger, Oklahoma City, OK, Judy Joan Ponder, Eufaula, OK. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, December 28, 2004, at Memory Lane Cemetery, Harrah, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service, Harrah, Oklahoma.
