Russell L. Barton

Russell L. Barton was born on February 16, 1916, in Newalla, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Thursday, September 21, 2006, in Prague, OK, at the age of 90. Russell, the son of P. W. and Faye Lessly Barton, was a long time resident of Newalla. He moved to Prague in 2003 to be near his family. Russell served his country in the Army Air Corps during World War II. He worked at Tinker Air Force Base and farmed. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, one sister, and a son-in-law, Dick Bullard. Survivors include, daughter, Cindy Bullard, Prague; brother, Jim and Margie Barton, Newcastle; Sister, Mildred Capps, Midwest City; grandchildren, Misty Bullard, Newalla Susan and Craig Kerr, Prague; great granddaughters,Jillian & Jordan.
