R.T. Flowers

R.T. Flowers, long-time, Meeker, Oklahoma, resident, was born on February 18, 1928, in Meeker, and departed this life on December 12, 2005, in Shawnee, at the age of 77 years. R.T. was the son of Frank and Daucy Teeples Flowers. He married Carol Hall in Shawnee, Oklahoma, on May 22, 1947. R.T. was a pipeline worker and a dairy farmer until his retirement. He was a member of Mammoth Baptist Church. His parents, one sister, Christine Kidd; one son, Lynn; and one granddaughter, Annie; preceded R.T. in death. Survivors include, Wife of 58 years, Carol of the home, One son & daughter-in-law, Dale & Paula Flowers of Meeker, One daughter & son-in-law, Terri & Howard Morris of Midwest City, One daughter-in-law, Joyce Flowers of Meeker, Grandchildren & Spouses, Preston & Christy, Chris & Robin Flowers, Great-grandchildren, Reagan & Kevin, Keegan & Connor Carrera, Amy & Brad, Summer Wells, Jeremy & Addie, Trevor & Robbie Flowers, Ali Morris, Two sisters & brother-in-law, Nelva & Slim Wyatt of Meeker, Phenon Griffin of Meeker, One brother-in-law & sister-in-law, Eddie and Charlotte Hall of Meeker, One brother-in-law, Ray Laughlin of Shawnee.
