Marcey Dawn States

Prague resident, Marcey Dawn States, died Tuesday, December 28, 2004, at her home following a long illness. She was born January 30, 1972, in Shawnee, OK, to Renae Whitaker. She was a graduate of Prague High School with the class of 1990 and worked as a junior volunteer at Shawnee Medical Center while attending high school. Marcey worked as a paraprofessional in the Special Needs Department of the Prague Schools until ill health forced her retirement. Survivors include daughter, Taylor Dawn of the home; mother and step-father, Renae and Wes Whitaker of Luther; grandparents, Bob and Glenda States Mom & Dad of Prague; aunt, Tammy States of Tulsa; uncles and aunt, Marty States of Prague, Reggie and Julana States of Prague; sister, Blythe Moran; step-brothers, Jonathon and Matthew Whitaker; and numerous other family members and friends.
