Kathryn L. Murray

Kathryn Leota Murray, long-time Chandler, Oklahoma, resident was born July 5, 1915, in Wellston, OK, and departed this life in Guthrie, OK, on July 9, 2009, at the age of 94 years Kathryn was the daughter of John and Grace (Brown) Treaster. She married Dempse C. Murray on December 21, 1935, in Wellston, OK. Kathryn was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. Her parents, husband, one sister, and two brothers, preceded Kathryn in death. Survivors include, two daughters & son-in-law, Leota Hall of Tryon, OK, Betty & Bill Byford of Yukon, OK, Five grandchildren, Eleven great-grandchildren. Other relatives and many friends. Graveside services will be held on Monday, July 13, 2009, 10:00 AM, at Carney Cemetery, Carney, OK. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler, Oklahoma.
