Goldie Laverne Peery, age 90, of Choctaw, OK, was born October 12, 1926, in Minco, OK. She was the daughter of John Calvin & Thelma Silvanis (Williamson) Cline. She left this life on Tuesday, April 4, 2017, in Midwest City, OK. Goldie graduated from Choctaw High School in 1944. She helped her parents run the variety store. After raising her children, she attended Rose State College and received Associates Degrees in psychology and medical technology. She was a member of NHS at Rose State and a member of the First Baptist Church in Choctaw and belonged to the Women's Mission Society. She enjoyed writing poetry and making quilts. Goldie took in more kids than you can count. She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 sons, Floyd Peery, Rene' Daignault, James Peery, 1 daughter, Teresa Diagnault and two grandchildren, Kristopher Kane & Michael Cline. Survivors include 2 sons & daughters-in-law, Les & Brenda Cline, Hot Springs, AR, Charles & Pamela Daignault, Frisco, TX; 2 daughters & son-in-law, Michelle Watson, Choctaw, OK, Denise & Randy Price, Choctaw, OK; brother & sister-in-law, John Virgil & Ann Cline, Midwest City, OK; sister, Jo Mary McDonald, Lexington, OK; 17 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; numerous great-great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. Services will be 10:00 AM, Friday, April 7, 2017, at the First Baptist Church, Choctaw OK. Interment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, Choctaw, OK. Services are under the direction of Asa Smith Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
