Elmer Luther "E.L." Harrison

Elmer Luther 'E. L.' Harrison was born on January 3, 1925, in Paden, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Sunday, August 16, 2009, in Clinton, Oklahoma, at the age of 84. E.L., the son of Guy Elmer and Samantha (Bryant) Harrison, was a resident of Paden. He graduated from Paden High School and proudly served his country with the United States Army during World War II. He married Sylvia 'Shorty' Richardson on August 1, 1946, in Oklahoma City. E.L. was a rancher and retired from Douglas Aircraft where he was a painter. His parents; one sister, Vinita Birk; and one brother, Alvin A. Harrison, preceded E.L. in death. Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Sylvia Harrison of the home; son, Harry W. Harrison of Prague; daughter and son-in-law, Regena and J.J. Mosely of Prague; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. Services are private. Arrangements are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
