Terry Kay Mattheyer Santin, 83, longtime resident of Davenport, Oklahoma, passed away early Sunday morning, May 17, 2026, in Shawnee, Oklahoma, surrounded by her family.

Terry was born on August 1, 1942, in Haleyville, Oklahoma, to Ralph and Enec (Poli) Thurman. She attended elementary school in Davenport and later graduated from Charles Page High School in Sand Springs, Oklahoma, with the Class of 1960. Following high school, Terry worked as a porter at a hospital in Tulsa before attending beauty school and earning her cosmetology license.

Together, they farmed and owned several businesses, including a carpet store, Thrift Quick Convenience Store, and Town and Country Convenience Store in Davenport, which they operated for more than 20 years. Throughout those years, Terry also worked as a hairstylist out of the back of their home while serving as office manager and bookkeeper for their family businesses.

In 1986, Terry married Ray Santin. Together, they shared a love of travel, especially trips to the mountains. They enjoyed camping in their RV and participating with the Corps of Engineers Gateway to Oklahoma group. Most importantly, Terry treasured time spent with her family. She especially loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and cherished every opportunity for large family gatherings and family cruises together. Terry also enjoyed being a member of the Red Hat Club alongside her sister Linda.
