Ruthina Kay Hiemer of Agra, Ok, passed away peacefully on May 28, 2026, at the age of 84. Born on July 13, 1941, to Frank and Ruth (Stevens) Reedy, Ruthina lived a life defined by her deep devotion to family and steadfast faith.

On January 19, 1962, Ruthina married the love of her life, Albert Wayne Hiemer, in Chandler, Oklahoma. Together, they built a beautiful life centered around their home in Tryon, raising their family until Albert’s passing in 2017.

Ruthina was known throughout her life for her welcoming nature and support for her friends. She cherished her role as a mother and was proud of her grandchildren. She enjoyed caring for the ranch animals and watching the wildlife on the ranch. She also enjoyed cooking for every guest walking through her door, including making and decorating cakes. She enjoyed sewing in her younger years.

Ruthina is survived by her son, Todd Hiemer and his wife Julie of Piedmont, OK; their daughter Ashley Kerce and husband Alec and grandchildren Lance, Luke and Laney Kerce of Piedmont, OK and daughter Katie Hiemer from Piedmont, OK; sisters Sherre Brandenburg and husband R.C. and Diane Wolfe; sister-in-law Barbara Reedy; as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Albert Wayne Hiemer; her parents, Frank and Ruth Reedy; her brothers, Gerald Reedy and Frank Reedy; and her sisters, Helen Brooks and Betty June Fick-Brown.
