With heavy hearts and loving memories, we announce the passing of Roberto “Bobby” Juarez, age 65, of Davenport, Oklahoma, who passed away on October 23, 2026.
Bobby was born on March 24, 1961, in San Angelo, Texas, to Antonio Luna Juarez and Maria Ignacia Salas Juarez.
Bobby spent his early childhood in Water Valley, Texas, before his family moved to Oklahoma, where they lived in Prague and later in the Happy Valley community. He attended Stroud High School, graduating with the Class of 1979. It was during his high school years that Bobby met the love of his life, Rhonda Jean Carroll.
On September 5, 1981, Bobby and Rhonda were united in marriage, beginning a beautiful journey together that would span 45 years. Together, they built a life filled with love, family, and countless cherished memories.
Following high school, Bobby began his career at Allied Material in Stroud, Oklahoma, before moving on to National Standard in Stillwater, Oklahoma, where he dedicated 37 years of hard work and service.
Outside of work, Bobby enjoyed spending time at the ranch, working alongside his father, and being involved with the Drumright Round-Up Club alongside his father-in-law, Bobby Carroll. These were special times that allowed him to share his love of the outdoors, hard work, and family.
One of Bobby's greatest joys in life was supporting his family in everything they did. It began with his children, as he proudly supported them in every activity and event they chose to pursue. From showing animals in FFA to softball, basketball, baseball, and football, Bobby was always there, cheering them on and celebrating their accomplishments.
That same love and dedication carried over to his grandchildren in an even greater fashion. Bobby was without a doubt their biggest fan. Whether sitting in the stands, cheering from the sidelines, or watching from home, he never wanted to miss a moment. Even when he couldn't attend a game in person, he made sure to follow along on GameChanger. And when the game was over, he wanted to hear all about it—every play, every highlight, and every little detail. It didn't matter whether they won or lost; what mattered most to Bobby was being a part of their lives and making sure they always knew how proud he was of them.
Bobby is survived by his loving wife, Rhonda “Blondie” Juarez of Davenport, Oklahoma; his children, Jennifer “Red” Shope of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, and Dustin “Bub” and Erica Juarez of Stroud, Oklahoma; and his four cherished grandchildren, Kameron “Girlie” Brown, Austin “Mijo” Shope, Kailee “Monkey” Juarez, and Conner “The Jett” Juarez.
He is also survived by his brothers and sisters, Antonio Luna Juarez, Francisco Juarez, Cathy Juarez Martinez, Julian Jalomo, Roy Jalomo, Mary Jalomo Aguero, Lawrence Brown, Theresa Juarez Henry, and Tony Juarez; his mother-in-law, Cuma Ash; his brother-in-law, Robbie Carroll; and many other extended family members and friends.
Bobby was preceded in death by his father, Antonio Luna Juarez; his mother, Maria Ignacia Salas Juarez; his stepmothers, Mary Ruth King Juarez and Barbara Ward Juarez; his father-in-law, Bobby Carroll; his sister-in-law, Randi Carroll Lott; and his cousins, James Everitt Watkins Jr. and Tommie Jean Watkins.
A funeral service honoring Bobby's life will be held on Friday, October 30, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., at Parks Brothers Funeral Home, located at 504 N. 8th Avenue, Stroud, Oklahoma 74079.
A graveside service will follow at Davenport Cemetery in Davenport, Oklahoma.
Bobby's greatest legacy will always be the family he loved so dearly. Through 45 years of marriage, he and Rhonda built a life filled with love, laughter, and memories that will be treasured forever. As a father and grandfather, Bobby showed his love in the simplest yet most meaningful way—by being there. Whether it was a big milestone, a ballgame, or an ordinary day, his family always knew they had someone in their corner.
While his seat in the stands may now be empty, the love, encouragement, and pride he gave so freely will never fade. His family will carry those memories with them through every milestone, every celebration, and every game yet to be played.
Bobby may no longer be here to cheer them on, but his love will forever be their greatest encouragement.
