Obituary

Robert Ross Rozell, 68, of Stroud, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on July 20, 2026. Robert was born on April 11, 1958, in Blackwell, Oklahoma, to Barbara Shields Beavers and Roscoe Rozell. He graduated from Stroud High School with the Class of 1976. Following graduation, Robert dedicated his career to serving his community through his work with several local employers, including Trailer Services, Phillips, Millers, Lincoln County, and ultimately the City of Stroud, where he retired as a master mechanic.

Robert was truly one of a kind. To know him was to love him. He possessed a quiet strength, a steady calmness, and an unwavering work ethic. A devoted provider for his family, Robert found great joy in caring for his cattle, farming, traveling, and spending countless hours tinkering and fixing just about anything. While he enjoyed many hobbies, nothing compared to the love he had for his family—especially his grandchildren. He treasured every opportunity to attend their activities, celebrate their accomplishments, and, of course, lovingly pester them whenever he could. His presence, gentle nature, and sense of humor will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Robert is survived by his beloved wife, Rhonda Rozell; his sons, Michael Rozell and Adam Rozell; his daughters, Chasity Rozell and Adrienne Clark and her husband, Bobby; his grandchildren, Destiny Rozell and fiancé Tyler Thompson, Taylor Rozell, Lillian Rozell, Riley Rozell, Adam Rozell II, Soren Rozell, Arwen Clark, Devynn Clark, Alexa Gregory, Avery Gregory, and William Gregory; his great-granddaughter, Willow Thompson; along with many extended family members and cherished friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Barbara Shields Beavers and Roscoe Rozell; his brother, Michael Beavers; and his daughter-in-law, Jennifer Rozell. The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude for the love, prayers, and support shown during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Stroud First Assembly of God in Robert's honor.
