Norma Jean Hubbell, born on February 23, 1937 in Prague, Oklahoma went to her eternal home on January 28, 2026, in Wichita, Kansas after a lingering illness.
Born Norma Jean Wyatt to her loving parents Leslie and Daisy Wyatt, she was a shining light to all those privileged to know her. Her earthly journey was marked by love, compassion, an unwavering faith in God, and a fierce commitment to her family. Her passing left a void in the hearts of her family, friends and many others whose lives were touched by her generosity and humor.
Norma married Edsel Hubbell in 1980 and the two moved to Meeker, Oklahoma. Norma worked as a bookkeeper, cultivated a beautiful garden, and entertained her grandchildren. The couple moved to Wichita to be closer to Norma’s son, but always kept close ties to their Oklahoma roots.
Norma is survived by her sister Carol Redburn, and brother Ronnie Wyatt as well as her son Doug Kellerby and step-daughters Carol Massey and Margaret White. She also leaves behind her grandchildren; Ashli Pulliam, Dru Kellerby, Christopher Massey, Jared Massey, Nicholas Massey, Arron Murray, and Tiffany Woods, as well as 20 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
