IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Michael David
Frost
July 4, 1944 – February 7, 2026
Michael David Frost was born on July 4, 1944, in Nanaimo, British Columbia, Canada, to Herbert and Kathleen (Day) Frost. He passed away, on February 7, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of service, dedication, and deep love for his family.
Mike proudly served in the Canadian military before moving to the United States in the 1960s. Shortly after his arrival, he continued his commitment to service by enlisting in the United States Air Force. During the Vietnam War, Mike served his country with honor and courage, a chapter of his life that reflected his strong sense of duty and resilience.
Mike married Judy Freeze, and together they shared a life centered on family. They were blessed with two children, David and Rebecca, whom Mike loved deeply. He was especially proud of his role as a Papa to his beloved grandson, Robby, and was a steady and unwavering presence for his family—a true rock they could always depend on.
A “car guy” at heart, Mike had a lifelong passion for automobiles. He loved fixing them, understanding them, and sharing that knowledge with others. His enthusiasm led to a career spanning multiple areas of the automotive industry, including serving on a NASCAR team during the 1980s. To family and friends, he was the go-to mechanic, always ready to help with an oil change or repair. Beyond cars, Mike enjoyed NASCAR racing, classic rock music, and spending time in nature.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents. Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Judy Frost; his son, David Frost; his daughter, Rebecca Frost; his grandson, Robby Frost; his sister, Beth White; his sisters-in-law, Janet Baker and Margie Tappe; his nephews, Jonathan Tappe and Larry Baker; his nieces, Kema Vassar and Sheila Powell and a host of extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made in Mike’s honor to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (stjude.org) or the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma (regionalfoodbank.org).
