Obituary

Kimberly Michelle Boone, 60, passed away on Monday morning, February 2, 2026, in Ada, Oklahoma. She was born at Pawnee Indian Hospital on September 21, 1965, to Delores Masquat Byford. Kim attended grade school at Happy Valley and graduated from Edmond Memorial in 1983. Her college years were spent at OCU – Edmond.

Kim leaves behind her son, Jacob Steven Tillman and wife Lindsey of Ada, Oklahoma; daughter, Jacquelyn Terrell and husband, Jeff, of South Carolina, and Shirley Boone, of Midwest City, Oklahoma; her mother, Delores Byford; brother, Leslie Masquat; step-daughter, Shawna Swindell and husband Eric; 6 grandchildren, Everly and Lacey Tillman, Brandt, Maizlynn, and Penelope Terrell, and Ellie Mae; her best friend, J.R. Rodriguez; as well as several nieces and nephews; Kim was also loved and blessed by many friends on her Journey in life – and a host of friends she made working at the Sac and Fox Nation for most of her working years.

She is preceded in death by brother, Richard Masquat and father, Johnny Byford.

A wake was held on February 4, 2026, at Sac and Fox Community Center. A graveside was held on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at Sac and Fox Tribal Cemetery, Stroud, Oklahoma.
