Juanita Louise Evans was born May 31, 1940, in Perkins, Oklahoma, to John H. Oliver and Anna Ellen O’Donnell. She was raised in the Perkins-Stillwater area and graduated from Stillwater High School before beginning a long and meaningful career in nursing.

Juanita dedicated more than 48 years to caring for others. She worked as a nurse at Deaconess, Stroud, Bristow Hospital and Utica Park Clinic in Bristow. Her compassion and commitment touched countless lives throughout her career. She was also a faithful member of Milfay Baptist Church.

Juanita had a giving heart and spent many years volunteering with the Stroud Clothing Ministry, where she lovingly served her community. She found great joy in helping others and giving her time to those in need.

In her free time, she enjoyed gardening, fishing, traveling, and, most of all, spending time with her children and grandchildren. Her family was a source of great joy and pride, and the memories she created with them will be treasured for generations to come.

Juanita was preceded in death by her parents, John H. Oliver and Anna Ellen O’Donnell; her sisters, Clara Vina, Anna Clifton, and Viola Oliver; and her brothers, James, John, Joseph, and Henry Oliver.

She leaves behind a loving family, including her daughters, Deborah Saunders and husband Steve, Terri Moss and husband Max, and Jan Cronin; her grandchildren, Stephen Saunders, Aaron Saunders, Jessica Jacome, Evan Moss, Levi Moss, Josh Cronin, and Jennifer Cronin; as well as numerous great-grandchildren, extended family members, and friends.

Juanita’s life was one of love, service, compassion, and devotion to her family and community. Her memory will live on in all those who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
