Jerry loved those trips, telling the stories of his winning and sometimes losing. Jerry was looking forward to more adventures and had trips planned to Branson and to Maine.

After relocating to Canadian, a few weeks before his passing, you could find him laughing with Wanette while watching Storage Wars and all their antics or telling her how he would change a recipe he was watching Emeril make. Between his other shows and rewatching his favorite boxing matches, you could find Jerry enjoying his days sitting on the front porch with his grand pup, Missy.
