Jeffrey David Bruton (Jeff), 55, of Meeker, Oklahoma, passed away on April 24, 2026.

Jeff was born on June 27, 1970, to David and Kay Bruton. He grew up in Rogersville, Missouri, and graduated from Logan-Rogersville High School in 1988.

On January 13, 1995, he married Tanya Colborn Bruton. Together they built a life centered on faith, family, and service, raising five children: McKenzie and Kevin Gutierrez; Micah Bruton; Madison and Cade Patterson; Alex Bruton; and Austin Bruton. He was a proud grandfather to Henry Gutierrez, Emilia Gutierrez, and Daniel Gutierrez, and was joyfully awaiting the arrival of his granddaughter, Ava Patterson.

In 2002, Jeff and his family moved to Chandler, Oklahoma, where he faithfully served as pastor of Forest Baptist Church for 16 years. He also worked at Meeker Public Schools and White Rock Public School, impacting many lives through both ministry and education.

Jeff was preceded in death by his father, David Bruton; his grandparents, Hurdie and Marcella Bruton and Roger and Fern Constable; his aunts, Jeannie Lipscomb, Karen Smith, and Kathy Major; and his uncle, Gary Bruton.
