Eldon Eugene Fleming, 82, departed this life on Sunday, March 22, 2026, in Chickasha, Oklahoma.

Eldon was born on April 25, 1943, in Chandler, Oklahoma to Aubrey and Velma (Myers) Fleming. He attended grade school in Pawnee, Oklahoma, and later graduated from Stillwater High School. He continued his education at Oklahoma State University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in forestry. Eldon dedicated several years of his career as a supervisor with the Oklahoma Highway Department.

On August 15, 1966, Eldon was united in marriage to Patricia Ann Hart in Wichita Falls, Texas. She preceded him in death on September 20, 2009.

Eldon was a faithful member of Highland Park Free Will Baptist Church in Stillwater and later attended College Heights Baptist Church in Chickasha. He found joy in reading, painting, and drawing, but above all, he cherished the time he spent with his grandchildren.

Eldon was preceded in death by his parents Aubrey and Velma Fleming, and his wife, Patricia Ann Fleming.

He is survived by his son, Donald Fleming; a daughter, Jennifer Fleming; grandchildren, Bryson Glass, Hannah Fleming, Dakota Hall, and Raymond Hall; his sister, Sharon Jones; as well as a host of other family members and dear friends.
