Obituary

Billie Irene Hall passed away on Sunday, March 22, 2026.

She was born on January 23, 1952 in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, to Wanda Irene and Billy David Goble. In her early years, Billie and her family moved frequently before settling in Stroud, Oklahoma, which she proudly called home. She graduated from Stroud High School in 1970.

Billie married the love of her life, Larry Gene Hall, in 1969, and together they built a life filled with love, laughter, and companionship. They shared many happy memories, especially enjoying time together playing BINGO, bowling, and dominos.

Billie dedicated many years of service to Stroud Hospital, where she worked faithfully until her retirement. However, her most cherished role in life came afterward—being a full-time “Granny.” She had a natural gift for caring for others and truly lived a life centered on love, compassion, and selflessness.

She found joy in simple pleasures, especially crocheting, where she lovingly made blankets for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren—treasured gifts that will be remembered for generations. Billie also loved playing games, with Wahoo being one of her favorites, often bringing family together for laughter and friendly competition. Billie also found joy in going to the lake, soaking up the sunshine and camping.

Billie was truly one of a kind—generous, kind-hearted, and always willing to serve others without seeking recognition.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Larry Gene Hall, and her parents.

She is survived by her son, Larry Roy Hall and wife Lori Beth; daughter, Lori Ann Jackson and husband Daniel; grandchildren, Taylor Jackson and wife Kathryn, Anna Jackson and fiancé Ramsey Richburg, Garrett Hall, Wyatt Hall, and Makenna Baker and husband Dylan; and great-grandchildren, Granger Ralston, Tuff Jackson, and Nolan Richburg.

Billie’s legacy of love, kindness, and quiet generosity will live on through all who knew and loved her.
