Charlie, as he was known by all, was born December 14, 1918 in Haggerville, Arkansas to Thomas Leroy Bouse and Maggie Allen Bouse. He was a graduate of Wellston High School and was employed at Tinker Air Force Base for 32 years, moving to Chandler, Oklahoma in 1979. Charlie lived fully and well. He grew up on a farm and loved nature. He planted a garden every year and was interviewed by channel 4 about his four pound tomato with a 21 inch circumference. He loved his flower garden and even planted clover for 'his' butterflies. A devout believer in exercise, he was still riding his bike at the age of 95. Charlie met his soul mate Ruby Kinnear and they were married November 8, 1989 in Shawnee, Oklahoma. This was his first and only marriage. He gained a family who loved him and was a God sent blessing to us all. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and two sisters. He is survived by his wife Ruby, stepdaughter, Shirley Summers and husband Warren of Shawnee, grandchildren, Eddie Wright of Stroud, Oklahoma, and Kevin Wright of Hays, Kansas; stepdaughter, Diann Baxter and husband Gary of Denton, Texas, grandchildren Mike Powell of Lake Dallas and Terri Powell of Denton, Texas; stepson Robert Kinnear of Edmond, Oklahoma, grandchildren, Sara, Amy and Jackson Kinnear all of Edmond and seven great-grandchildren, one deceased. A graveside memorial service will be held 2:00 PM, Monday, June 9, 2014, at Wellston Cemetery, with Rev. Rick Blackwell officiating. Services under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler. Our family extends sincere appreciation and gratitude for all the love, prayers, support and friendship.
