Wanda Lea Lambert long time Meeker, Oklahoma resident was born on October 29, 1931 in Seminole, Oklahoma and departed this life on Monday, June 7, 2010, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 78 years.
Wanda was the daughter of Curt and Dovie (Massengale) Shaddox. She married Wayne Lambert at Shawnee, Oklahoma on December 27, 1949 and she was a homemaker. Wanda was a member of the Morning Star Baptist Church in Meeker.
Her parents, husband, two brothers, Neal and Dale Shaddox preceded Wanda in death.
Survivors include, one daughter & son-in-law, Paula & Dale Flowers of Meeker, OK, three sons & daughters-in-laws, Bruce & Denise Lambert of Pflugerville, TX, Keith & Robin Lambert of Seminole, OK, Brian & Gail Lambert of Owasso, OK, one brother, JB Shaddox of Shawnee, OK, one sister, Louise Wood of Marion, KS, numerous grandchildren and great
grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, June 10, 2010 at 10:00 AM at New Hope Cemetery in Meeker, Oklahoma with burial in New Hope Cemetery with Howard Morris officiating. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler. A guest book is available to share your memories on-line.
