Leslie Floyd Lancaster was born on December 6, 1934, in Meeker, OK, and departed this life on Friday, May 7, 2010, at his home in Meeker, at the age of 75.
Leslie, was the son of Floyd and Blanche (Davis) Lancaster. He married Wynona Schrimsher, November 25, 1953, in Bakersfield, CA. Leslie worked for the Blue and Gold Sausage Company in Jones, OK, for 28 years. He was a member of the Jones Church of Christ.
His parents, one daughter, Nona; two brothers, Carl and Noah; and one sister, Edna; preceded Leslie in death.
Survivors include, wife of 56 years, Wynona of the home, sons, Paul Lancaster of Meeker, OK, Wesley Lancaster of Tulsa, OK, daughters, Cindy Ryan of Harrah, OK, Sandy Simon of Jones, OK, brothers, Owen Lancaster of Meeker, OK, Clifton Lancaster of Prague, OK, Estele Lancaster of Shawnee, OK, sisters, Clara Wolford of Meeker, OK, Velma McEulen of Prague, OK, Thelma of Chandler, OK, 10 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 11, 2010, at 2:00 P.M. at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Chandler with Don Johnson officiating. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler.
