Dorothy Hester (Long) Guffey was born on October 5, 1921, in Lookeba, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Friday, January 29, 2010, in Tuttle, Oklahoma, at the age of 88.
Dorothy, the daughter of George William and Lois Ethel (Pabst) Long, was a resident of Prague. She married Earnest Roy Guffey on July 11, 1942 in Cordell, Oklhoma. He preceded her in death on July 11, 1975. Dorothy was a member of the Prague United Methodist Church. Her parents; six sisters Crystal Hawes, Dolores Morgan, Irma Loula, Virginia Long, Betty Marler, Carroll Tingler; two brothers, Ted and Glenn Long; and one son, Roy R. "Butch" Guffey also preceded Dororthy in death.
Survivors include daughter-in-law, Shirley Guffey, Tuttle, Ok; brother and sister-in-law, Felix and Corabelle Long of Lookeba, OK; three grandchildren, Todd Guffey and his wife, Glenda Guffey, of Tuttle, OK, Lisa Guffey, Dallas, TX, and Tyler Guffey, Dallas, TX; six great-grandchildren, Garrick Landis, Beau Guffey, Kavan Guffey, Skye Guffey, Jesse Gregory, and Santana Gregory, all of Tuttle, OK.
