Bronze, the Finest of the metal caskets, is a beautiful, semi-precious metal that is naturally resistant to rust and corrosion.
Woods, selected for their warmth and beauty, provide unique grain patterns and finishes to suit individual preferences.
Steel, offers the basics of protection. From the highest quality of 16-gauge to a minimum quality of 20-gauge, thickness determines the general quality and price.
We also offer a wide variety of outer burial containers. Some people refer to them as vaults, however, a vault is a sealed container that is water tight and air tight. This is not required by law, although most cemeteries have a requirement of at least a concrete box or grave liner which is not air or water tight. We can acquire any brand or type of burial vault manufactured in the United States. However, we normally show Wilbert Burial Vaults, which are also the finest in quality available.
Cremation caskets and containers are available in a wide variety of styles and prices and can be categorized in four different groups: Traditional Wood Caskets, Wood Cremation Caskets, Hardboard Caskets and Fiberboard Containers. Though each container has its unique features, you will want to consider the type of service that is planned before making any decisions. For example, when a traditional ceremony has been scheduled, many families prefer the design and ornamentation of a traditional or cremation casket. However, if a memorial service (without the body present) is planned, you may opt for a hardboard or fiberboard container. Alternative containers are also available; however, they offer no interiors and are often constructed of cardboard. These are suitable when no viewing or service has been scheduled.
Memorial Urns are permanent containers for the cremated body. A wide range of styles and prices appropriate for burial, niches, scattering, keepsakes or discreet placement in a home. State or local law does not require that you buy a container to surround the urn in the grave. However, many cemeteries require that you have such a container so that the grave will not sink in. Either a grave liner or a burial vault will satisfy these requirements.
